would this work for a cage?

I have a semi-clear storage bin that I had put wire in the lid to use as a cage for a previous reptile I had. I was wondering if it would work for my bp when she gets older, possibly as a permanent adult home. the dimensions are 38 in long, 19 in wide, 6 in high. I know its not high, but it gives a lot of floor space.

The wire lid would be bad, as it won't hold in humidity. Remember too, ball pythons are great escape artists. I'm sure someone with more experiance will be along shortly, but that's what I would say with me having used some rubbermaid bins myself. Just the regular clip that the bin does itself won't hold them.

I would say if your gonna have a wire lid you'd probly be ok with humidity if you duct tape part of it off so all the humidity can't escape... Tiki has a wire lid on his cage and i have 3/4's of it taped off (outside the cage only) and his humidity is right where it should be. I have no issues getting it up to 70 for sheds either.

the tank i have her in now has a screen lid. i just cover part of it with an old piece of cloth. i have no problem with humidity that way. I know if I use the storage bin then i will have to find a way to secure it better. i was just wondering if the space provided will work.
