I think a lot of people on here will advocate plastic tubs, and I'm starting to see why. I have my big 3.5' girl in a 40 gallon breeder tank and it's sooo difficult to keep the temps constant. I don't really want to move her out of her setup though. I recently aquired a baby and am keeping him quite happily and easily in a plastic tub.

Tubs are lighter, easier to keep up humidity and the right temps... just not as appealing to look at.

It's up to you, either way should be fine as long as you can get the temps and humidity and other husbandry requirements correct.
