You know you're opening yourself up here to hammering from non smokers.
I think cigars are icky smelling. I don't like being around them.
Cigerettes.... what ever doesn't cost $5 a pack works for me.
    I roll my own though.

Thats fine. All they have to do is scroll over the title and see what it is.

I would like to roll my own, but I cant find any good place to get the tobacco in bulk. Ill probably get it offline.

I buy about a carton every 2.5-3 weeks.

    Re: Whats Every One Preference?

    Really?
Wow, around here they sell it everywhere. We can get 16 oz. bags for about $6, plus tubes, rolling paper, whatever. But tabacco prices are so outragious in Washington that the companies make more money on RYO than they do by the pack (carton, whatever ).
My husband and I go through about the equivenent of a carton a week.

    Re: Whats Every One Preference?

The only place I know of localy is Walgreens up the road. And thats like a 6 or 8 oz. bag of pipe tobacco, thats not good for cigs, its very rough and has big shreds. Plus no menthol either.

One thing about rolling your own that I like is that it takes time, so you smoke less, its not like grabbing a smoke out of the pack. Which is too easy, so you end up smoking alot more.

    Re: Whats Every One Preference?

I personally hate cigars... Although because of my uncle I love the smell of pipe tobacco.... I find it comforting. No idea what brand he smokes though....

As for cigarettes, the boyfriend smokes rothman's red, so if I have them it's that... None in the house though, the smell is icky! Now if only we could convince the roommate of that one.. Oh well, as of 2 weeks from now no more roommate!

    Re: Whats Every One Preference?

I bought smokers candles when I went down to deerfield a couple months ago for jet ski racing.

They cut the smell out. They were $4 a piece, I bought 10 and put them all through out the house, 2 in my room.

    Re: Whats Every One Preference?

I still don't like it in the house even with candles

We have laws here that you can't smoke in any public building or enclosure with a roof... And it just makes you used to smoking only being outdoors...

Ahh pipe tobacco. I do like the smell of that!

Not really. I can roll a cigerette, be it by hand or in the machine so dang quick, I can chain smoke if I wanted to!
It does work for a while when ya first start rolling your own, but once you get use to it, it's amost the equivenent of pulling one out of the pack. Now if you're like some and roll up a pack at a time every night before you go to bed...shame, shame!
Only rolling one at a time does help, but.... it's still just as easy to smoke just as much.
Granted, it only takes 2 seconds to open a pack and pull one out, whereas loading the machine and making one takes about 15 seconds if that.
