    ACU-RITE problems

My acu-rite thermometer has gone wacky on me. It only has dashes for the temp and it just displays "LO" for the humidity. It was working fine yesterday and now this. Has anyone had this problem before? And yes, I changed the batteries

    Re: ACU-RITE problems

take the battery out and let it set for about 30 mins. mine did that once when my boa decided to spill his water all over the tub. the acurite was soaked and wouldn't read anything. so i took the battery out and let it dry for a day and it worked fine the next day.

    Re: ACU-RITE problems

Yeah I tried leaving the battery out for awhile( 3 hrs) before I put in a new one. The only thing in the cage is the probe and its about 2" off the bottom. So I know water isn't the issue with this.

    Thanks for the reply Kevin
