Re: Just finished cage. PICS
You'll probably want to seal some plexiglass around it to protect it from WETNESS. The helix is great, but you'll want to prevent problems from spills and piddle puddles.
Looks great!!! Wanna come build some for me??? ??Plllleeeeeeease?!??????

Looks great. very professional looking. how tight do those doors fit? I was wondering if you will get any air flow in there,or did I not see some vent holes? I must also advise puting something over the flex.
Nice work

Re: Just finished cage. PICS
yea you defiantly need something to cover the flexwatt. one little water spill or a little bp pee on it and there is a chance for electrocution. you could get some linoleum or a thin piece of tile flooring, plexiglas, or maybe a piece of glass. then just seal it with some silicone to make it water proof.
other wise remove the flexwatt and get a radiant heat panel. they mount on the top of the case and heat down into the cage, kind of like a ceramic heater, but alot better.
if the tools are to far away or whatever and you can't seal the flex.... you're going to have some cool looking book shelves...

ohh...i sealed the connections with silicone...ill have pics of it when I get home....just concerned if the aluminum tape will hold and no fluids will leak through under the tape....
I made sure i waterproofed it....but ill look into it.
