I wouldn't put a bed in a corner. It creates a huge space under the bed that is inaccessible and likely to accumulate clutter and dust. Basically, you want good airflow to all the little corners, but without compromising your ability to feel reasonably secure ( you would never want the head of the bed to be away from a wall, for example, unless you were using a much lower platform style bed)
