I definitely agree- I plan to have Milton as a buddy for the next 30 years!

I'm not really a cheapskate, but my fiancee is already on me about how much I've put into his setup already!

Do you guys think I could use the rheostat for the cool side? It wants to stay around 76 or so... I've been kicking an old heat lamp I had manually and watching temps while I'm home... sometimes it will stay above 80 and sometimes it won't. I just don't know if the rheostat has a low enough setting for a <5 degree variance.

My thinking is also that if I'm going to spend $75, proportionals start around $100, don't they? Are they worth the difference in your opinions?
