They don't need to soak. Your water dish is fine.

Thumbs down Re: You guys were right!

So instead of getting your BP back in shape you just trade him in?

If you had provided proper care and listen to the advice given here you could have had a healthy BP, and be a proud owner that did everything he could to see his animal thrive which is a very rewarding feeling.

I'm confused, did you return him to the store you bought the first snake at or give him to the ASPCA?

    Re: You guys were right!

this one is huge in the enclouser i have him in right now. he fills when coiled up the hwole bottom of the butter bowl. no aspca wouldnt take them. the store i showed him to said they will take him back to nurse him cuz they will find out wuts wrong wit him for free compared to me spending tons of money. so they gave me a big fat healthy one. they were interested in y the snake was losing weight. whats the hottest the cool side can be cuz today humidity hit 95% outside and his cool side is 83.4 with 68% humidity in tank. trust me i wanted to nurse him back and be proud that i took care of a sick snake and brought him back . but Aspca told me that if i did id be very busy watchin him tkaing notes and stuff. i made it easier on me and him by letting the specialist there nurse him back. the new guy is already feeling like home hsin the hide and has just his head stickin out. i kno he loves it cuz all they had him is was a 30 gallon tank with a huge log hide which he didnt use. and i been watchin this sanke for the last 2 weeks cuz i was gonna buy him for my second. he just kept getting ibgger every time i seen him. it was the largest the store has ever sold. hes very calm which i beleive is good.
