Mouse Sizes....
Hey Guys...
So I've been feeding my juvenile BP mice, and I am sort of lost as to the size that I should be feeding him...
He took a "large" fuzzy the other day, but it looked mighty small doing down, see below, and didnt leave much of a lump...
Anyways.. The last mouse that I got was picked up by a friend. I was at work and he was going to the pet store, so he got me a large fuzzy, and a small regular white mouse. I was pretty sure the white mouse was a bit large, and didnt want to take the chance without knowing...
So knowing that, what is the next logical size over a fuzzy? What is the correct lingo for ordering these guys....
This is what i have so far:
Pinky (hairless, eyes closed)
Fuzzy (hair, eyes still closed)
I dont know the next few.

The prey item does not need to leave a lump
Feed a prey slightly smaller then the girst size (widest part of your BP's body) once a week and your BP will do just fine.
Pinky (hairless, eyes closed)
Fuzzy (hair, eyes still closed)
Hoppers
Weaned
Adult
Here is an idea of sizes http://www.rodentpro.com/catalog.asp...el=frozen_mice

Re: Mouse Sizes....
I feed hatchling Balls Hopper Mice for their first meal...They can take a Reg. Mouse in no time...
The only time I've had to feed a fuzzy mouse to a Ball was when I had twins...They were only about 35 grams each...
