    My Intro.

Well I have been on this forum for a while know, Few months and finally I got a job at the local arena and ball park, I am only 16 so cant get that good of a job but I like it I will be working in the consession stands makeing $8.25 an hour. So the first couple pay checks are going to be equimpent for a snake. I have always wanted one since I was little know that I am older I am going to get one. Before I even think about buying a snake I am going to make sure I have all the right equiment, I am going to set up the equiment and let it sit for a 1-2 weeks to make sure everything is right. So hopefully in a month or 2 I will have a snake to show you guys. There is my little intro .

I hope I am doing this right? I have been reading alot. Should I wait longer to make sure all the equiment is working? I have been doing alot of research thanks. Mike

    Re: My Intro.

    welcome to the forums...

if you have any questions about set ups, ball pythons, or anything, don't hesitate to ask.

one thing i would mention as a suggestion.... look online for reptile supplies before going to petco or petsmart. ask for pictures of people setups, or how they have things set up. you can save a lot of money by using little tips and tricks that experienced keepers and collectors use.

and most of all... HAVE FUN!

    Re: My Intro.

Welcome to the wonderful world of snakes!
Just a friendly suggestion when it comes times to get your snake. Start researching now for reputable breeders. This time of year your average normals are more than a fair price. And you won't end up with a possibly sick or mite infested pet store snake where no one can even give you the truth if they are eating or not. Many of the breeders here even ship if you find something you like. And I hear tell that some of them will give ya great T-shirt with your healthy snake purchase!
    Sin~
