Never heard of that? If your snake is having a bad shed it's because humidity is too low. Higher humidity or soaking is always a good idea, it also helps them hydrate. Lots of snakes will soak themselves in their water bowl when in shed or too warm. Just make sure water is not too hot or cool. I try be 88-90 degrees.
