BP morphs are not "made" like a mad scientist BP breeder working on a new genetic engineering project with test tubes and lightning. They (base morphs) are originally found in the wild and bred to determine the genetics, or very rarely hatched from two non-visual parents. Pretty much every abnormally colored or patterned snake of any species that is found is bred with intention of proving out the genetics to be inheritable. BPs just happen to have many more inheritable traits than most other species. Corns are another species with a wide variety of color and pattern mutations, but once again, most of these morphs were originally found in the wild.
