All Praise the"Odds Gods", round 2

As promised in our first round of Smiling Odds Gods, I had some more great clutches coming. I couldn't break a promise, so here is the story and the pics. First clutch to fully emerge was Monica's Mojaves. When we cut the eggs, there was one egg that had a baby that didn't look right. After watching it for 5 days, we still couldn't figure it out. Once it crawled out, it explained itself. A Pastel! What , we bred a Mojave to a Normal. Looking back at the breeding records, one of my Pastels did help start this girl off, and I guess some of his sperm squeeked by. We ended up with 2 Mojaves, 1 Pastel and 2 Normals. This was our first clutch that had dual sires. In the pic, the males are at the top and the females are at the bottom.
p.s. Robin, this is the clutch from that reduced girl that you like so much

Second clutch to hatch was VPI Axanthics. 2 of our female Hets decided not to lay this year, so I was thinking that we wouldn't have many Axanthics this year. They proved me wrong . We ended up with 7 out of 9 VPI Axanthics. I love these guys when they are hatchlings. I think they are my favorite snakes to watch crawl out of the egg. The 2 males are in the middle surrounded by all of their sisters.

One more round of Odds Gods Smiling to go. (It will be about a week)

Thanks for looking, and Have fun this season,

I wonder that myself Vaughn. I have some info that says we will find out this year. It won't be me, but maybe next year. We try to live right, I guess the Ball Gods think so at least.

Re: All Praise the"Odds Gods", round 2

Thanks Liam, Cue, Sean, Mike and Judy. I am glad they are still smiling. I hope they do so for the rest of the season, as we still have a few exciting clutches to go.

Liam, No photoshop there, they are VPI Axanthics. They lack Xanthrophores, which is what produces yellow pigment. Take out the yellow and you get Black and Silver. They have been my favorites for quite sometime. I wish I could ship international, but have not gotten setup to o so as of yet. Maybe next year.
