Which line?
Any way to tell which line my Pastel is from? I'd like to know if it came from someone else's collection before I start naming my own line next spring...

Re: Which line?
The only way to name your own line is by having a pastel that was not CB that is totally unrelated to any line in the market.
If you are using a CB pastel, you are not creating your own line. You would have to breed your animal to a normal and see if it is in fact a reproduceable trait that is a different pastel line not seen before.
Is your animal an import?

Re: Which line?
That's kindof my point... I have no idea where he came from. He could be an import, he could be from any known line, I really don't know. He was purchased originally from Next World Exotics, but they couldn't provide any information on his lineage.

Not knowing what line he is from doesn't mean he is a new line or that you could name it. Of course you can name it anything you want but its not going to be recognized as such.

Re: Which line?
If it originally came from NWE, send Jon a PM thru this site. He is a member here and should be able to help you find the origin of the snake.

Re: Which line?
If Jon didn't mention a specific line it's probably not from a specific line. I have 7 pastels 3 are from certain lines(Graziani, Blonde, Nerd Lemon) the others are just pastels. Really doesn't matter all that much as long as you like it. You would have to get an animal from Africa to start a new line and Jon would have mentioned that. I have several animals in my collection fron Jon including a no name line pastel.
