    a silly scare :)

Mark took the lid off of Ginger's egg tub yesterday to look; he yells franticaly for me to come look. "Is this one going bad!?" He gasps..
The egg with newspint has been worrying me.. well, it is fine; but there was a shadow across it that made it look like it was going bad! Needless to say it is fine, but it stopped my heart for a few seconds.
Ginger's egs: on Day 22. Bela's; on Day 14. I am going insane.

Good luck with those eggs. I hate it when eggs go bad. I had one go bad from a pastel to pastel breeding. Looks like there may be one more going bad as well.

    Re: a silly scare :)

Well I can definately sympathize with anyone who's had eggs go bad. Last year, our first and only clutch went completely bad. by this far into their incubation, they were already foul and green/orange. Then this year, my first clutch went bad after my stupid hovabator spiked their temp. I got a crash-couse in Correct incubator building, and managed to set the inc. up before these guys arrived; now I have two happy clutches baking in it
That first clutch though last year, I had done everything right. One egg held on for a longer time and in it was a deformed fetus that looked healhy except for being undersized and crimped/overgrown in some spots and squished-in in others.

    Thanks guys!
Liam; I plan on holding some back and selling some. It just depends on what ones I get attached to while I am raising them from hatchling to feeding neonate
Pics will be plastered on every available surface (even my cat..) lol
