Do all BP's shed in this rolled up fashion or do some also shed like my corn snake does, in one long inside-out piece?

Hmmm...ya know, I never thought about that difference, but I see it with my two snakes as well. My BP sheds in a neat little roll (or, more often a wad with a big turd in the middle! )....but my Cape Gophersnake leaves one long inside-out sock draped all over his cage. It might be a species or genus specific tendency, but I never thought to check into that before. Fun question!!

Whoa this thread got me thinking...is there any possible way to find out if my normal ball python is het for anything?

The petstore I bought it from...well their breeder makes a bunch of morphs and what not and probably doesnt give a crap about non morph looking animals...so if i did get a het how would I know???

You'd have to breed it but you don't know what it's het for so you wouldn't know what to breed it to. The chances of it being a het for anything are pretty small though.
