spray the cage with provent a mite, but you cant spray it in the waterbowl or the snake. 1 spraying lasts about 30 days. on the snake i have heard soapy water, cooking oil and baby oil, but i have never had to use any of them (thank god)

The mite off will kill the adults off the snake but not the eggs. I deffinatly agree Provent-a-mite is by far the best product for killing mites.Cost is about $25 shipped from entirlypets.com but you will never regret it

Don't use any type of oil on your snake. All you will end up with is a huge mess of scales that will come off. Provent A Mite is the only product that kills mites and has the residual effectiveness to kill any mites that will hatch from eggs that were already laid. Follow the directions EXACTLY. Good luck!
