    What to feed?

I am going shopping and taking Beckys list so I can get my future breeders on a much healthier diet. Becky, thank you so much for coming up with that!
Anyway, my main concern is my dogs and cats have been on Iams for years and for some reason I sat down and really read the ingredients and I feel I need to switch them to a much better dog/cat food. I would love some suggestions from others on what works well for them. With the Iams, they both end up with itchy skin and one gets hot spot every Aug. Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Who would you say are the best dog/cat food companies out there?

    TIA

    Re: What to feed?

All of the ones Becky suggests are awesome. Personally, I feed Science Diet because it's decent and I can get it at work for half the store price, which is great with the number of critters I'm generally feeding. I'm very happy with the way mine do on it....great coats, low-volume/low-odor stool, and zero health problems in the five years I've been using it. It beats any grocery store brand, hands down.
