I have made sure she cannot come in contact with the glass bottom over the UTH by putting that repti-carpet in, and the carpet is controlled by herpstat to not break 95. So... should I just go ahead and get her the next size up hides so she won't need to dig, or let her keep her beloved baby hides and let her dig away until she flatout won't fit at all? I imagine it's gonna be the keep the hides as-is, but thought I'd ask...

Now for the required pics... lol

Ben are you aware that the carpet stuff is known to harbor parasites and other gunk even after being washed or cleaned up? If your UTH is controlled by a T-stat then it should not get high enough to cause her any burns. Now the hides,if she is happy i would let her be happy. This is also know as why make her upset and then she will stop eating to get even with you
