Yes that is definitely the San Diego Zoo! Good guess Christina. I knew that somebody would have been from Southern California and would recognize the herps.

but i took a trip there during my winter break with our marching band. i loved the herp house- my friends kept on trying to drag me away!

Ya thats ok. I'm from Oklahoma and was just out there on a visit. I actually go to school at Valpo so thats pretty close to Chicago.
