    Question Another feeding question

Zoe is doing really well eating. . .I'm extreamly happy with it but my question is, if your snake will eat more than once every 2 weeks, should you feed it more?

    Re: Another feeding question

Most feed their BP an appropriate size prey (slightly smaller then the girth size) once a week and nothing bigger then a small rat (4 weeks old 45-55 grams) once a week for an adult BP.

    Re: Another feeding question

I would not feed juvies every other week. They grow more their first year than any other time in their lifespan and need the right amount of food to do so. IMO feeding every other week is too long to go in between feedings for a hatchling or juvi.

So to answer your question, yes, if they'll eat more than once every other week, they should be fed more often.
