Well seems like you went a little fast with him, you should have let him settle for a week before handling or offering food which could be part of the problem.

Also you need 2 identical tight hides with all side touching your BP's body you can make them out of plastic flower pot dish, plastic bowls, or get something that look like this

Now for the temps you need to offer gradient temps of 80-84 on the cool side and 90-94 on the warm side.

Make sure yu masure both temps and humidity with a digital thermometer/hydrometer like this one that can be found at Walmart for 12$ (Dial and stick do not work)

For now do not upgrade the enclosure size, it is fine just make the adjustment suggested, let him settle for a week try to offer food and then start handling.

Also keep in mind that snake are wild animals and he could simply be acting like a snake.
