    Real time help in feeding

OK, 100g mouse been sat on top of my wooden viv since about 9.30. I positioned it over the heat lamp so the warmth would defrost it. How long till its ready to be stuck in water and then roughly how long in water?

    Cheers

    Chris

I defrost by letting them sit until they feel floppy and thawed out. I don't put them in water at all, but if you do, then it should be more than a couple minutes I wouldn't think.
Not sure what time 9.30 was, but thawing shouldn't take very long for a mouse. Mine seem to thaw in about 20 minutes sitting at room temps.
    Good luck!

I don't think mice can even get to 100g. Was that a typo? Ball Pythons don't even need 100g of prey per meal, 40-50g maybe depending on their size. I bet ya meant 10g
