Type of snakes you have seen in your area???
I live in NE Philly and we dont have that much but here are the ones I've seen growing up.
Garter Snake
Northern Brown Snake
Black Racer
Eastern Ringneck Snake
Mountain Earth Snake
Black Rat Snake
Pretty common but of well.

I have seen ever type of snake they MS Dept. of Wildlife says we have except a coral snake I have never seen one of those in the wild.

I've seen a baby copperhead a little north of philadelphia.
Goregous colors on the snake too.

Here is a link to my wildlife page. It pretty much has all of the kinds that I have seen in Louisiana. As I catch them, I take a pic. There may be two or three not on there that I have seen because I didn't have the camera, but it's pretty complete. I would love to take a pic of every native species of snake in Louisiana for that, but it will take some time. Especially with 12 species of water snakes alone down here. Enjoy,

I personally have encountered:
Eastern Hognose
Copperhead
Some kinds of small grass snakes?
A very small brown/tan snake, seemed to be a burrowing species?
Coral snakes are also popular, but I have not come across one.
