I was wondering if i could lay the tank on its side so that it has a higher surgace area. I have a sliding lid so i could put the pin in and make it lock.

I could probably put some of those furniture risers to put space between the dresser and the tank. The question is more about if the tank would be alright and not break, i use newspaper as substrate until i can put him in a 55. Would this work?
There are kits out there to make fish tanks into terrestrial tanks. I am not sure who makes them though. A 55 gallon tank is way too big for a baby ball python. They like to feel secure and safe and a 55 gallon is just too big.
