Arrow Do I need to be worried?

One of my girls, Emma, had a small litter today. 5 wiggly plump pinks all with full tummys. Well since I have corns that eat rat pinks I put them in the freezor. Do I need to worry about Emma, since I took her babies away. Do rats get depressed? Should I treat her extra special the next few days?

Here's a pic of the litter. Sorry its so dark.

Looks like your corn will be eating well.

She will be fine. But I would still give her extra special attention (just cause they are such sweet animals )

They seem to be glad when the wiggling parasitic babies are gone

She'll be fine. Make sure to clean the enclosure so there is no smell of birthing or the litter left behind and put her with another female for companionship.

perhaps some extra nutritious food to assist her to regain anything she lost creating those pups would be a great idea as well.
