Poop problem?
I just got my first snake a month ago, she started regularly eating after the second week and still no poop. She is about two feet long, and I have yet to weigh her, but I know for sure she is a fattie, lol. Maybe you guys know whats wrong? My temps are 95-90 on the warm and 87-85 on the cool. My digital thermometer doesnt have a humidity reading on it, so I have yet to buy an accu-rite. Right now I have the water bowl on the cool side, and a hide on both sides with a little adorable climb bush thing on the cool side, and because she is in shed, I have a more humid hide, which is a bottle with a hole cut into it with a little damp towel crammed at the end. Also, she had very minor burns awhile ago on her belly which pretty much cleared, but if it was that then she probably wouldnt eat... Maybe I'm just getting too over-dramatic about poop? I also heard that soaking in warm water helps with that, so maybe I should give it a try? Thanks for any help.

Re: Poop problem?
Snakes poop when they gotta poop. Some go weekely, others may go monthly. Shouldn't be anything to worry about, I think.

Yup - some of em like to store it up as a nice surprise.
seriously if she's only been eating a couple of weeks then there is nothing at all to worry about - it can, as noted, take them aaaages on occasion.

Re: Poop problem?
Looks at the rectum area of your Bp. If its bigger that a normal bps then he has alot of stool in there that needs to come out.
I had this promblem when my Bp was a juvee. I remember still the tip they gave me in 1999. They told me to put her in a sink filled with luke warm water and she poop. And suprisingly she popped alot and her tail got skinny. I could imagine her face. she was probably like  awhhhhhh.!!

Re: Poop problem?
If you got the snake a month ago and it started eating a couple of weeks later then it's fed what two or three times for you without pooping, correct? What are you feeding btw?

This is interesting because I am experiencing the same thing.
I have had my ball for 4 weeks and have fed him the last 3 of them. He ate a single mouse the first week, two mice the second and then 2 mice this week for a total of 5 mice and still no poop. Just wondering if this is normal.

Re: Poop problem?
Ive had my girl for about a month now. Just found out she was a girl! Woot!
Anywho she ate a pinkie the first time. Then a fuzzie each feeding day after that. Tomorrow will be feeding day number 4.
She has yet to poo. I cleaned some urates out a week ago. Like the size of a BB or a small small pea. I figure she will go when she needs to.
I don't wanna soak her and have her go before she wants/needs to.
