I believe Harlan Teklad distributes these, you might be able to find a supplier through them. I also want to get it, but haven't had a chance to track it down yet either.

yea every where I've looked either mass distributes it or don't have a price. I wonder if my local Co-Op would get it for me.

Well after 15 phone calls I found a distributor in Slidel. LA they sell it for 7.99 for a 50lb bag.. looks like I'm making a trip to Slidel.

you can contact the maker and they can put you in touch with the closest distributor to you.

If you are already using Aspen and want something more pleasing...why not use cypress? It is cheap ($2.50 a big bag at Wally World) - holds humidity well, doesn't mold and offers the same advantages as Aspen...Just an idea

I had considered that but Sani-Chips guarantees that their bedding is 100% aspen, and they bake and treat it to kill any bugs and so on. I just feel safer using something that is made for animal bedding. Thanks for the input though.

If it's the Harlan labeled Sani Chips it won't be a 50 lb bag, but a 2.5 cubic foot compressed, expands to about twice that.

Harlan is just a distributor for that company, why would they change the bag?
