I have had this Tokay gecko for nearly 5 years he was probably 6 inches when i got him so i assume he is much older then that. Since before the first day i got him he has a had a hole im one of his knees looks almost like it exploded from inside. he has always favored it a little but still used it so i didnt worry about it to much. But now his leg and toes on the one leg are swollen and all of his toes look pail. He has been under some extra stress lately as we just moved from wisconsin to florida and i had to put him in a small container for one night and its the first time he has been handled since i got him ( gave me a nasty bite on the hand for it witch i anticipated ) hes still very alert, active and eats but not as aggresivly as before. This could not have come at a worse time as i dont have much money to blow right now so a vet is kinda not something that can be done easily. I guess my question is do you think it is MBD or is he just getting old from what ive read they only live for about 10 years. i care about him alot and i just noticed it tonight so im postting it here first to see what you think. Also if it is MBD what is the best way to reverse it? Would a UVA/UVB light work or gut loaded crickets? Not sure how to use the picture add on but when i do i will surely add a pic of my tokays poor leg
