    my leo is shedding

k this (I think) is the 2nd time hes shed while I've had him, and this time I've actually caught him in the shedding process. When I lifted his hide I saw the skin starting to peel off his nose I was a little scared, as usual I'm worried about my herps shedding. He's got a humid hide thats at 88F, is this gonna be ok? I guess it should be if he already did it once...I just couldn't bare to have him shed improperly, but if that was the case, what does one do with a gecko with a stuck shed?

    Re: my leo is shedding

a humid hide on the warm side of the enclosure with a temp of 88 should be fine.

the trouble spot for leos is usually the toes when it comes to shedding. when your leo finishes shedding check him over with a close look at his toes and the tip of his tail. any skin that is stuck there can usually be removed with a moist q-tip.
