I asked about feeding because BP's are different from young corns who eat every 4-6 days prey that is bigger then they are wide.

@melanie, popping is when you manually pop the males hemi out of the vent. if nothing pops out then its a female (usually). It can cause alot of damage if done improperly.
and to add to that, generally when you get a snake sexed, if nothing is popped and it looks to be a female, most people will then probe it to be 100% sure of the sex. When I bought my baby girl we check almost 10 snakes before we found some females. The worker had a few that when he did it by hand were potential females, but when probed only 2 ended up actually being females.

Wouldnt probing be alot easier and safer from the beginning?
