It has started! ~DUW~

Well, we have the first couple clutches in the incubator for the season now, and I'm getting ready for three more in the next week or so. Here's a few shots of the two proud mommies.

This is Goldfinger. She threw some killer lemons last year.


She had 9 eggs last year, all went full term. Here is this year's clutch a few days after being laid. There's one slug up front, and the other two going bad were roll-outs, so I was expecting them to go south. Since this pic was taken, the one in the back left has started to go bad too. I am still excited about this clutch though.


Mable (proud mom #2) has now laid three seasons back-to-back, 8,10, and now 9 eggs respectively. Best $500 I ever spent! She was bred to our albino this season.

Both moms are now feeding voraciously again, and I am getting excited for lil' pip-squeaks!!
