OK! I read that pink bellies are a likely sign of a shed, and that portion as well as his neck area appear to be a little pink. Thanks guys!

You will definetly notice when it is a pre-shed belly. It's pink all over and quite noticeable. The first thing I usually notice is the blue eyes. Can't miss those.
