Star Gazing?

So i was at one of the local pet shops here and was picking up some extra supplies and noticed one of their Boa Constrictors was just staring at the ceiling...he was just staring, for a good while too, and was breathing kinda hard....that star gazing or just a really bored snake?

could be, when he moved did he have a head tilt or spin? was it stareing like way back?

his head just kinda swayed back and forth a little bit, and about 4-5 inches above the rest of its body.

dunno personally, may have been bored, may have been gazing, may just be a habit. someone else may be able to chime in, but without seeing the animal it is tough.
