    what a sleep,

I don't know if anyone else gets this.
but i have terrible terrible dreams about my snakes haha.
i just woke up after having a dream about my inheriting like 12 different snakes, alot of cool bp morphs and some neat kingsnakes.
so i had all of their setups set in my room. I can't quite remember what happened but i was going to go check up on them and THEY'RE ALL IN THE SAME ENCLOSER. and the kings were attacking the balls uhhhhh what a nightmare, i was freaking out to try and get them seperated and i must have gotten bit like 10 times haha. in the end... i woke up, and i was startled haha :cens0r::cens0r::cens0r::cens0r: my life (pardon the french.)

    who has these too?

    Re: what a sleep,

I had one not too long ago. For some reason my bp was about 7ft long and I decided to get an albino burm that was about the same size. I put them in the same tank thinking nothing of it. They ended up coiled around eachother, trying to kill eachother. The only thing I could think to do was to pick up the lump of snakes and run to a friend's house. Then I woke up. Pretty crazy because it's so far from anything I'd ever think to do.

    Re: what a sleep,

i had a dream the other night that all my snakes got out of their enclosures and as i was attempting to get them back into their enclosures they were biting me.

oddly, i wasn't affected at all by their biting whereas IRL i do have a bit of a fear of being tagged (haven't been yet, so it's more the fear of the unknown LOL) - anyway i was very upsest that my snakes were out... i kept worrying that they would not be found and would get an RI.

    Re: what a sleep,

Not to long ago, i had one where my snake had some terrible rotting problem, like ate huge holes all over him, and for some reason misting him was gunna fix it, so i suffered thru this ordeal till i knew that i needed to put him out of his misery, so i grabbed the shovel and was crying on my way out the door. I am a 6' 1" 210 lb bouncer/bartender i dont cry! So thats when i woke up, see all the other weird dreams dont look so bad now huh!

    Re: what a sleep,

I hesitate to post this since I'm actually going to get to go visit NERD next month. ( !!! ...still can't believe it!)

But....a few months ago....I dreamed I was working at NERD and I walked into their snake room to find one of the BEL's escaping out of its cage and crawling around on the shelves. While I was trying to put it away, I began to notice other snake's crawling all over the place....so I'm getting near a panic, trying to figure out what to do, and Kevin walks in and looks around and just says "Take care of this, will you???" And leaves!

So there I am, trying to round up all these amazingly expensive animals, and I can't even tell which tanks (yes, the room was full of tanks! LOL) they're all supposed to go in so I'm so freaked out about losing some and getting them mixed up....that was one dream I was glad to wake up out of...although I missed playing with all those snakes!

    Re: what a sleep,

I had a bad dream about 4 nights ago. I had a dream that I went in to check on my snake and he had these huge cuts all over his body in this criss-cross pattern. I took him to the vet and they said he was not going to make it! It was scary.

I think it is because he is newish and I have been here reading a lot and I'm a nervous first time bp owner.

    Re: what a sleep,

I have nightmares about my animals too. I recently bought The Complete Ball Python and there's a picture of a poor little BP who had almost all of his scales chewed off by a panicked mouse left in his tank. That to me was worse than a 6 year old seeing The Exorcist!!

    Re: what a sleep,

I remember a snake nightmare I had last year. In my nightmare our house caught fire. My hubby got the kids and the rats out and had everyone stuffed in the car and was trying to convince me to leave. I was stuffing snakes into travel containers, in my pockets, down my bra...anywhere I could...but I knew I wasn't going to be able to save them all (in my nightmare we had a lot more snakes than we really have). I woke up in a cold sweat!

    Re: what a sleep,

I have dreams all the time where my two ball pythons refuse to go in their cage, or where they bite me for some reason.

The weirdest dream was one where Sitka Renenutet, my female snake, was giving live-birth to baby snakes. The first one came out normal, but the other three she had had little lizard legs. Soooooooooo freaky.

    Re: what a sleep,

i always have disturbing dreams regarding snakes.

in the last one, someone wanted to get back at me for something, so they threw 3 other snakes in the cage with my BP. they started biting each other and i was freaking out trying to get them separated.

but i've had all sorts of bizarre things happen with my snake...like her crawling out of her skin (not as in a shed).
    i hate those dreams...
