Air holes in your egg containers

Can you explain this for me?
I don't understand the words but I like to understand the method that is used.
Because when you seal your egg-box, will there be enough oxygen for the eggs? Or do you open them every day?

The eggs don't really need air exchange everyday toward the beginning of the incubation period, as the embryos don't use that much oxygen. At this point, opening the egg box every few days is enough. Toward the end of incubation the eggs do have higher oxygen requirements, so opening every day or two is needed.
