    Re: w00t! First shed!

zomg! I came home the other night, his eyes werent ghosted over any more and his colors looked great, but no shed ne where in tank, so thought maybe it was a false shed or something. So I go into his cage to pull him out to weigh him as its feeding day, i weigh him each time i get ready to feed him and lift up his hide and sure enough, in the hide with him was a single shed all balled up. w00t! Im so happy he had a perfect shed. Right now hes eating so no pics to post, i know some people dont like pics of snakes eating, just wanted to share my excitement of his first shed with me and it being a good one.

    Re: w00t! First shed!

    Snake,

In the book I read writen by Kevin McCurley of NERD it says that the snake will get smoked over eyes/skin and then it will go away only to have them shed shortly after. So it looks like your snake is just going through the normal shed cycle as it should. You should check this book out, very well writen and informative.
