I don't know anything about breeding, but the sheding is the same anyways ^_^

They do go 'blue' when they are getting ready to shed. Their eyes turn a foggy blue and their body looks more pale than usual. Kinda get a greyish tone to them. The pink comes in just before they go 'blue'. It's a good way to tell a bit sooner that they are going to shed.

So their belly will turn pinkish, then a few days later they will go into blue. Here are some pics of my girl in 'blue' to give you an idea
