I'm tired of this rain! I'm even more tired of this wind! Also Ed, my backyard looks like a miniature lake.

    Re: Flooding along the shore.

Oh I know! I was down Ocean City a year or two ago and we had a horrible storm! The highway was under about 2 or 3 feet of water. I remember being stuck out in it with my friend and standing on the bench in one of those little bus stop booths and the water was just about up to our feet. Can't drive when your car is well underwater. I was tempted to buy a little raft and paddle on back to our hotel room, but my friend was not having any of that. That was a fun night.

Good luck Ed, I hope your house doesn't flood out!!!!!!

    Re: Flooding along the shore.

I just tried to come home from work, and there are detours all over the place........took me an hour and a half , and it's usually a 30min drive!

(ALSO) I had to work in this crap all night......heavy rain, just to get peoples stupid TV back on..............even if commercial power is out, i have to put generators out on telephone poles to get people tv back up! arrrrrrrrrr!

(well we have telephone too! so i guess people do need their phone just in case of emergencies! so in that case i understand!) but it still sucks to work in.....and the boss didn't call once, not even to say how are things, knowing i was on shift by myself, with no help. from 4:00pm to 12:30am (but if i do something wrong he doesn't hesitate to call! ......Thanks a lot Bill i see you really care! Re: Flooding along the shore.

YUCK Tyree! That doesn't sound like fun at all!

My power just went out. I called BG&E and put in a request. Then I was down my basement looking for heat packs for my guys & girls. Of course my flashlight batteries had to die... and by the time I found the heat packs and were about to set everyone up with one the power came back on.

I knew it was going to happen since our power goes out 98% of the time when it's windy or storming. Anyways the heat packs are now up here in case the power goes out again. In which case it probably will.

Stay safe and dry everyone. Sounds like awful weather. I guess it's not so very bad that we got snow here in Toledo yesterday though I was pretty whiney about snow this far into spring. What rotten weather everyone's having!
