For Chicago!

I want to go to Chicago this fall for the snake show but on my list is my first experience with real chicago pizza. Any suggestions on the absolute best place for a newb to experience this?

giordano's or lou malnati's- michigan ave is good for shopping, and go to millenium park for the bean!

I heard they were going to remove the bean. Also try the Exchequer Pub on Wabash for pizza and ribs. Be sure to have a Chicago style hotdog with everything. Just make sure it's real. If they don't use vienna hotdogs and S. Rosen's poppy seed buns, it's not real. And ketchup is only for the fries. I also highly recommend trying a few Chicago Italian beefs. Regular and cheesy, both with gardinaria peppers. If you're feeling crazy try a Sicilian beef. That is the above with red sauce. Almost everyone I know who moved away from Chicago takes at least 5 lbs. of Buena beef back home when they visit.
