The "Simple" Questions

Kinda funny you posted this, I was actually asking "simple" questions only like 3 days ago? and now with the help of everyone on this site I set up my cage and my cousin who is experienced with BP's was asking me for help re-configuring his cage to work as well as mine does haha I found that pretty funny. and before getting my BP I was nervous as hell and now i'm pretty confident and not so afraid or worried about messing up. I've even learned A LOT about BP genetics which I find extremely interesting. So thanks guys. I'll be sure to help out where I can :]

Fantastic post Jo! Its what a lot of the so called breeders will never get, and why they are destined for failure. Anyone can breed an animal, but that is just a small piece of the puzzle. Customer service is a key to all business but in my opinion, nowhere is it more important than in the animal trade. Customer service is more than just being there after the sale, its about showing people your passion and caring before you have collected a penny.

I knew after last night you guys would attack away so that is fine. Here is the deal I don't have the time that a lot of others on here do. I have a job that is very demanding and I work 12hour night shifts so I don't get much sleep also I have a family so that takes time also. If I had the time to answer everyone's questions I would but then again if I respond someone would call me a know it all so it can be a double edged sword. I help out everyone who has ever bought from me and I have helped a few people on here already. All you have to do is pick the phone I am real easy to talk to. Now I am sorry if I offended you by calling them the simple questions. Also I know that when I got into this in 03 there was a ton of information on the internet. Ralph's website for one helped me out a lot. You can research so much on this website by just doing a search.

Anyways attack away that is cool! I will help out whoever I can and they contact me anytime you will find I always get back to you.

Maybe I can help with some time management advice? ... you seem to find the time to post pictures .... how about mixing it up a little bit and posting a few less pics and answering a few more questions? I think the entire community here would appreciate it!

There's no attack here ... I think that all anyone would ask is that if you're going to come here and promote yourself, give a little back to the community ... This is a tight group of very very good people and someone with your 3 years or so of experience would be a valuable resource to new people that haven't figured out the search feature and are just looking for the best possible information

Remember, back when you started, I'm pretty sure that you were emailing breeders with questions and even though they were all very busy, they took the time to answer you as best they could ... share some of that knowledge brother, it feels good!

Sorry buddy ... not my site at all ... I'm honored to be a member here just like everyone else and I pay to run a couple of banners and support the site because it's given me so much over the years, but that's where it ends. I've just been here a long time and help out as much as I can (I'm busy too with owning 2 companies, familiy, friends, church, etc) .... during that time by posting as much as I have, Ive become very fortunate to have made many friends here that are very good to me.

both ways that you look at it. If you are helping someone with "simple" questions, you feel good both about yourself and for the person asking the question. and for the person recieving answers (much like myself), they feel good when their questions get answered. the giver and reciever both feel like the community is all around them.

Brock I've been out all day so am just catching up on this thread. First I'll address your post. You haven't been around here long hon but anyone that knows me online or off will tell you if I wanted to address a problem I had with you, it would get addressed straight up. There would be no confusion about who I was talking about or what I was concerned about. I don't start threads that hint or double speak about members. Neither do I participate in online "attacks" which quite honestly are cowardly and I believe pretty far beneath the sort of person I strive to be. I come by the nickname of a "mouthy broad" quite honestly and carry it quite proudly. I'll spell it out for you Brock, I have no problem with you at all, I don't know you well enough to have made that sort of decision, you simply made me think.

When I think, I post threads to see who is thinking along those lines too and get a feel for the community here. I'd actually been speaking with another member about a month ago about this very topic, so basically your choice of words simply brought it back to the forefront of my rather busy brain. If you see it for more than that, that would be your problem Brock not mine but I'm sorry if you do as that was not my intent (and I thought I covered this in the first paragraph in my original post).
