    Unhappy Constipated?

So Max is going on a month now with me of feeding him a mouse every 5-7 days, visually hes perfectely healthy, last feeding he weight 239g, before yesturdays feed he was 255g, and about 21 inches long. Hasnt shedded for me yet, tank specs are 95 degree warm, about 81 cool, and 43% humidity. I have cleaned several urates out, but no bio waste yet. He ok or should i shoot him up with some X-Lax?

He should be ok. You might try giving him a nice warm soak for a little while that might loosen things up.

He could just be storing almost every little bit of the prey that he can and converting it to growth, and not wasting too much. If you think he is constipated you could gently palpate the lower 1/4 of the body for any hardness. Some feces do come out a little on the hard side, but you could also soak him in warm water and see if that helps. If you are very concerend a vet visit may be needed.

Sometimes i feel my snake hasnt let loose in a while, untill i take him out and he find a nice warm cozey spot then lets a rip..he usually like to go on a soft warm towel. Couple times he decided to curl up between my legs (sitting indian stile) so it was nice an warm under there and he shot out some shizzle...glad he finally went but boy was i pissed lol. so yea...my gecko to, it seems that he always waits till im holding him to drop a load.
