No not really there is a very VERY VERY slim chance that a reptile mite will be around in the grass they tend to stick to reptiles and get transmitted when two wild reptiles come in contact with each other.
Not to mention they aren't native to this country?
That is a nice looking snake. One snake that's on my "to get" list in the future for sure.
