I was at a Petco and found the frozen rats. Chocolate has been refusing her live food again, acting afraid of it whenever it neared her head. So on a whim I thought..okay give it a try. She snagged it in about 10 seconds and it was gone. I didn't know what to expect when I opened it, but it looked fine. Thawed it like it said, then a couple minutes in warm water, and gave it to her. She hit so hard I heard her mouth clamp it. She didn't coil, just held it, then ate it. Try again in a week, I've gone to 2 weeks because she seems to be slowing on her meal times between. Otherwise doing fine. I like the frozen because I don't see the rat die, but miss her striking and coiling, it is awesome to see.

When I get to Indiana I want to change her set up, get a automatic mister, though I mist her a lot, she still has the eye dented problem, I worry she'll get sick/blind or something.

Is it advisable to take her outside and supervise her just crawling around in the grass? I wonder about mites, or other things she could get. What you all say??

I have taken on hermit crabs. 2, the larger has baried itself, molting I hope. Same humidity problems. Working on it. The bigger one if friendly and fun (buried one now), and the little one is fun and quick out, but quick to pinch...got me a good nip last night, I call him Shy, cause he is a little timid. Other is clinger because she like to hold on to a shirt, or finger, and very strong.

Thanks all, Marsha
