Feeding Adults
So, ever since I joined this site I learned that adult ball pythons only need to eat "small rats." What I don't understand is, does that mean one rat per week, or more than one instead of feeding a larger rat?

Re: Feeding Adults
As a general rule, my biggest adult girls get one "small small" rat per week ... but when I have extras, in the fall when I'm adding weight to girls, after egg laying, etc, are all times where I will double up my biggest girls ... adult boys never get doubled.
Hope this helps.

Sorry about that ... "small small" is something I've been using on the forum for years, I forget about all the new people sometimes ... "Small smalls" are what I call rats that are between a wean and what the industry considers a small ... 40 - 45 grams maybe? ... I'm not much for scales so I'm guessing.
Hope that helps.
