I don't know much yet, but I believe that it does stress them to make big changes. Their sense of security and territory gets disrupted and they have to check everything out and establish that it's safe all over again.

I try to make only one change at a time if possible. Add one piece of furniture or move something, wait a week and make sure he feeds, then make the next change, etc.

I am currently converting my BP from a small tub to a large enclosure and making it naturalistic....it's been a long process but so far he has seemed very content with it...he's sleeping well and eating well.

So that's my thoughts and my limited experience. Sorry I didn't notice this thread sooner
