How long does it usually take? I just bought a male and two females from petco, they were kept in seperate cages.

Just threw them in a 10gal tank. How long do you think before snake food will appear?

    Re: and pop she did!

well this was my first attempt, and I got my breeders about 1 1/2 months ago. All is still going well. Momma is nursing and all the little guys are still living! So I would say a minimum of a month unless the female is already pregnant when you picked her up, but maximum..... you never know. (at least I don't)

and for general info, I have a 1.3 colony.

New mouse colonies usually take 1-2 months to get started, and then you should have litters about once a month after that.
