    Whats he doing??

    kk my bp has been sitting in his water bowl for about a day and hlaf straight... is there something wrong with him?? or is it normal behavior is chill in water for almost 2 days?? and not only that but yesterday when i picked him up to handle him... i saw a MITE those little *******!! wat do i do about it?? helpp me outtt pleaseee

    Bathe him, clean the cage with provent-a-mite and use basic substrate (paper towel works best). Also, quarantine him if you have more than one snake. Good luck getting rid of those.

    Yep, make sure they're mites. When you squish them does a little blood come out? If so, you got mites! Get a can of Provent-a-Mite(the only stuff that really works IMO) and spray the tank with it when the BP is not in it(soak him or something.) Make sure it's dry before putting him back in. You can get PAM on most herp websites... get it rushed to you or something.

    soaking can be normal behaviour if your husbandry is perfect and your snake is healthy but obviously you now know he is soaking because of mites.

    keep on top of it or you'll never get them all! goodluck getting rid of them.
