Watchin' him shed right now

WooHoo! I woke up and turned on his lights and misted him and he just started rubbing his nose and goin' for it!! I have been watching him for about 45 minutes and it's sooo cool!! It's not perfect though... the top part of his head shed fell off when he went back and started working on his chin... but hey, at least I got to watch

He just finished... that was really neat... and he's noticeably bigger, I think. No wonder he refused his meal yesterday! I knew I should have waited till he shed to offer though... oh well... my very first shed with my very first snake and I got to watch... pictures to follow, but I'm sure my camera won't do him justice!

Just took one of him shedding, I preferred to watch since I knew my camera phone wouldn't really get great pics anyway...

He spilled some stuff while shedding so I had to get him out to clean it and I took these.

yeah!! I'm still amped about it today!! LOL, I know I'm easily amused He ate well for me last night too (like 12 hours after he shed)

I just remembered that I forgot to bring his fecal to work to take to the vet!

Sounds like a great shed! There's nothing wrong with a shed that doesn't come off all in one piece....if it ALL comes off...it's perfect!

Thank you!! It all came off alright!! It was my first time, but thankfully Nag was an old pro LOL

I bet he's glad to be out of that old skin too... I know I feel relieved and I wasn't the one living in skin too tight for me!
