I agree that it sounds like something to do with the regurg acid, possibly if it burned your eyes he asperated too much and he could have had similar burns internally on the lungs. I know your post helped to educate me, and i hope it has helped others as well. But no matter what i can tell from your posts that you cared about him very much. I am very sorry, losing a pet is never easy.
